Omowale is known for his skill with charcoal, pastels and acrylic. The human form dominates his works, especially the Caribbean woman.

“Using art as a vehicle for spiritual, artistic and cultural linkages” is his main objective.

Omowale has exhibited throughout the Caribbean, Europe and the Americas.

Omowale and his twin brother grew up in Trinidad and although he resides in Barbados, Trinidad is still Omowale’s spiritual home. He visits regularly to reunite with one of his main sources of inspiration- Trinidad.
